Only financially and operationally unstable companies ($hitibank, BNY Mellon, Bear Stearns, Lehman Brothers, AIG, etc.......Notice the pattern ?? Most of these companies are now defunct. $hitibank is on its way to nonexistence.) Nickel and Dime its employees, just like telling employees Not to rate themselves higher than a 3.
They also look for ways or absurd reasons to Not pay better salaries to their best employees, limiting promotions to 1% and 20% maximum because promotions are tied to higher bonus percentages and higher salary increases, etc., etc., etc. .
And even employees who received 1s, 2s Rating from their Managers got insulting jokes zero or low, 2% to 3% Salary "increases" and/or low or zero Bonuses.
But CEO Insane Jane and the $hitibank Board of Directors approved and gave her a 33% Bonus and Salary Increase for NOT hitting her Targets/Goals !!! $hitibank and CEO Insane Jane even had to Lower, Dvmbed Down the Goals and Targets and she still could Not hit or achieve them !!!
If a Non-C-Suite employee does Not hit or achieve their Goals and Targets, they would receive a zero or low Salary Increase or Bonus, and definitely NOT 33% !!!
$hitibank is sooooo FUBAR beyond help and hope. Most employees have watched this movie before with defunct Credit Suisse, Lehman Brothers, Bear Stearns, AIG, etc.. The writings and clues are on the wall.
