I loved the WFH policy but not for the reasons you may think. I never stopped coming into the office. I loved the peace and quiet, easy parking, near empty cafes, lack of interruptions at my cube, and the general low stress environment. I'm not at all looking forward to seeing you all come back and return to "normal". Wish I could switch to WFH in September.

The smell of fish wafting through the air from someone's microwaved leftovers, dirty dishes & trash left on the water faucets, cr-p smeared on the toilets, LOUD phone conversations a few feet away from you most of the day, parking a mile from the building....yeah, what's not to love.
Intel people are such whiners. The comments here prove it.

I'm looking forward to commuting an hour into an unfamiliar Intel facility then promptly joining a Teams call with my team that is scattered all over the world. I already take Teams calls from 6am to 10pm, now I will see my wife and kids even less.
I guess my daughters will just have to learn to grow up without a parent present.
