Coming in to see who is gone for good... It does a number on you. I don't think there are winners in this situation. Those laid off now have to search for a new job amid a terrible job market, and those left behind have to deal with extra work we'll be expected to pick up for no reward (outside of the usual "be lucky you still have a job.")

Lost mine yesterday- Sr. IT Manager.
I was one of those let go yesterday. I was a Team Lead/Senior Software developer. They slowly moved all of work to offshore teams (that we trained). Then they let 50% of our team go. It really su-ks.
