I applied to a few s/w roles where I had all of the requirements, but have quickly got rejected with the same reply that the role wasn't a fit. I keep seeing the same roles being reposted also. Is there a hiring freeze?

INSIDE SCOOP: They are hiring temp contractors and interns instead of FTE. When a company does that, there is a reason. Don't waste your time applying for jobs there.
Yes, there is a hiring freeze, so more can be hired from the failing DXC technology
Try changing your pronouns to they/theirs/it ... and you'll be hired for sure.
I would relocate to Santa Clara, but strange that I'm rejected right away. A recruiter from Pure had reached out to me over a year ago, but I wasn't available then, but am now due to being laid off.
The company may have roles that have already been filled or could be sourcing to see the level of talent that exists in the market. Although the company has great products, the work/life/balance of engineering teams su-ks.... 5-days onsite.
Are you located near a Pure Storage office?
- 999% of the positions (outside of Sales) are onsite which require being in the Santa Clara HQ or global hub locations throughout the week.
