Thread regarding Appian layoffs

Event staff jumping ship

As if it wasn’t enough to see April D. resign last month, having Emily C. resign a week before AppianWorld was the cherry on top.

They arranged amazing events that made him look so good to the customers, prospects and board, but he was always such an unreasonable person to deal with.

I guess nobody wants to be Matt’s party planner anymore. Poor Matt.

It was a gut punch when April left and then shortly after followed by Malcolm. They were the heartbeat of marketing. Emily leaving also further eroded what was once a great leadership team.

It’s not clear who is even leading marketing now. I mean true leadership, not just putting the marketing org through the motions. It’s not the CMO, and the new VP really has her hands full.

Sounds like no one wants to work with the CMO, who is just an order taker from the CEO
