Thread regarding VISA Inc. layoffs

Where are people getting their info about layoffs?

I haven't heard anything outside of this forum. Where's this supposed layoff info coming from? Are people just turning unsubstantiated rumors into facts, or is there something more behind it? I'd prefer not to start stressing over something that's completely unconfirmed.

Agree, there has been some friction between US and European leadership since some time, many of the trips to Europe that happen this fiscal year from the C suite are related with this, despite being having a different official agenda.

Tension between Marie and Charlotte was very perceptive from everyone in the room. The only surprise is how nothing of this get leaks to the newspaper.

Ryan again fails to take decisive action. Claims to hear loud and clear the feedback from lack of communication at leadership level just to do the same months later, everyone knows everything from the rumours and connections within Visa. He is a good guy, hardworking, competent, but not CEO material.

There’s a lot of noise under the surface right now, especially around Visa Europe. From multiple conversations, it sounds like a leadership shake-up might be imminent (finally!).

If true, this could be a much-needed reset for how the company engages with partners and approaches growth across the region. For too long, it’s felt like status quo and internal politics have stifled real progress. Key sources talk about Europe CEO and her closer leadership.

Let’s see who steps up and whether this opens the door to more agile, visionary leadership in EU payments.

The leaks on here were correct.
