Anyone know how long it takes to get severance pay?

I was laid off February 6th and I didn’t receive my severance until 5 weeks later. I applied for unemployment in Michigan and haven’t received that as of yet.
It took me 3 pay periods. On the third pay period I received it. Good luck! I’ve never been so happy to get out of such a negative, backstabbing, made up lies, stealing credit for your ideas atmosphere!
Mine was pretty quick after sending in my severance agreement. I was laid off in the first round of layoffs this year.
