You troll, but laying off 10% to 20% every few years is the strategy, as long as the company sticks with x86.

Technology has a long tail to obscurity.

At the current rate, the product divisions will be sold to a company like Broadcom within 5 years, to be kept and managed for profits as the installed customer based fades away.

If you think the work environment is harsh now, just you wait.
