I also refuse to be affected by undue pressure at work. I know I can’t control what happens. We’ve already seen that performance, dedication, and skill have little to no bearing on who gets let go. In fact, it almost seems like those who work the hardest or excel the most are the first to go. I do my job well, that’s it. I’m not putting in more than what’s technically required, and I’m certainly not sacrificing my health or peace of mind worrying about a job I can’t depend on.

Happily got laid off in the last round. Sick of doing multiple dry runs for demos, with every man and his dog having opinions on what you show tell etc. to find out there wasn’t any real case/deal really going on. Just find another role. How many pay rises have you had since you joined? One, none? I’m sure the top dogs get well fed.
