Did we mention as a single mom that RTO is going to require some restructuring on my part and higher costs. Other than that I’m fine with it.

I agree with striking because I am in an out group on my team. And I hate being used as a scapegoat. No room for fresh minds or women for that matter. Change that culture. I don’t have a bloated paycheck I am relatively new. I never saw a pay bump but my cost of living out here has skyrocketed since moving down here. What I get is ongoing threat of layoff by some soulless new Mr. Fixit

I liked going to the office, then they shut it down and some of us left. We petitioned because where I live the office brings pride to leave for work from family. Now we go RTO and no office still. Strike agreed.

WTF!! these people talking about a strike and still working at Intel this is what’s left?? Damn it!! I should have taken the previous package.

I also had a 20+ year co-worker who took the package last time. Man it hurt. The guy was there with me through years of ups and downs. Left back to his home state after. Why do that to “the employees” all over again. Sign me up for the strike.

I support strike cuz I don’t want RTO. Do I need to go to site to do secret handshake? Can we do that on teams call?

Send that email to all Intel employees if they want to join OP. You are too slow like your CEO said.

Wait a second here. I want to strike. I had a co-worker who has worked with me for 15 years. I really felt bad when he took the package. Intel Lip-Bu wants to pretend all that did happen saying “do it once” when talking about layoffs. “Do it once”? We did it all last year. I am for the strike. Send me the stupid email or whatever, I’ll sign it!

@b1, Hey captain obvious of course you can have a debate on this site or any other site if you want, it’s just a website not affiliated with Intel. But when you do something within Intel which is not a Union Company that would more than likely be a problem.

In a former life I practiced federal labor law. You can very much debate going on strike without fear of repercussion on this or similar forums. Have fun! If you feel you’ve been punished for debate then there are plenty out there that will help you extract more than what you’d get from any package.

I got one too. It mentioned something about a secret handshake we are supposed to give co-workers as a sign they are on board also.

There was a time that where I could take pride in my work and I would be busy all day a go home feeling tired but looking forward to the next day picking up on where I left off in my work. Now somehow culture shifted to not wanting me to take pride in my work and always wanting me to feel like I’m a hair’s breadth away from being laid off. I am all for strike if it means telling Intel that we know it’s time for change from the ground up because from the top down doesn’t seem to be working.

That was HR letting you know you are on your 3rd strike.

They have been working with IT, tracking what people have been doing on the Intel network, and on any device which has the work apps installed. Something about developing a Q2 list of who has been naughty.

You are Known.

Oh, well it appears there is something to this. I’d say I kind of agree. Since we don’t get pay bumps anymore in a time of high inflation. if you think your pay is bloated, give the excess to me I’ll take it. Also, why do employees continue to get slapped for bad executive decisions. But they’ll sure take 800M in chips act funding to improve cash flow ;-)

This is absolute act of desperation - a screaming call to an uncaring universe at best. At worst a pathetic, meaningless threat to a malicious cosmos turned chaotic. Now it is time to accept your fate. This first huge step to your downwardly less- than-mobile future of despair and darkness

A strike will indeed make Intel sales improve. Think about it.

What will a strike achieve?
It will not make intel sales improve.
The problem is no one wants the products intel is trying to sell.
You should have taken the package.

OK, sent me one… professional looking yes, and temp email address. Would say it would look like a phishing attempt if it was asking for info but it’s not. Yet I for one would love to see a strike even though I am not brave enough to participate.
