I only got credit for being in the office two days last week. Is there a specific time of day that you need to be in the office to get credit? Some days i wait and come in after traffic dies down. Perhaps we have to be in by 9AM or 10AM to get credit? I'm concerned about being put on a list for not showing as having enough days in the office.

Just goes to show HR isn’t taking this seriously. Fine by me as long as they leave us alone.
Not only did they not fix the missing swipes from the previous weeks, they closed out the quarter reporting and didn't count any swipes from last week
"There is no "badge out". It's simply an RFID in your laptop that uniquely identifies your laptop at the entrances."
This is false and a lot of people don't take their systems home now, nor do I bring mine in with me several days per week due to f2f meetings.

Badge in. Pretend joy.
Badge out. Return to real joy.
Man who seek meaning in cubicle often find only calendar invites and quiet despair.
RTO at Dell? Total disaster. People are not happy, folks. They’re miserable… nobody’s working 8 hours, believe me. They’re watching the clock, taking long lunches, leaving early. The commutes? Horrible. Stress like you wouldn’t believe. Productivity is down, way down. It’s failing bigly. I’ve seen bad ideas but this one, maybe the worst. Sad!
Don't bother caring about getting credit for being onsite, just keep getting paid.
I only go in 2 to 3 hours a day
Has your manager expressed concerned? If not, then no one gives a sh-t.
This will be used as a metric to get rid of people not performing.
Systemic issue affecting my whole team.
I am a professional slacker who does enough to slide by. I schmooz with management all the time so you probably know who I am if you are in my orbit. I badge in every day and then wander about pretending to be busy. It's perception, people.
Has anyone elected to not attend at all? Any kickback/threats of PIP's etc?
Don't worry about being put on the list for attendance. Everyone is on the list already.
you have to sleep in the office to get credit, hope this helps
Badge in, right hand. Badge out, left hand. Badge in, badge out.
Breathe in through nose, out the mouth. Badge in, badge out.
Don’t forget to breathe, very important.
I come in anywhere between 5-11 AM and leaveto go home and actually get work done no later than noon. All my badge swipes have counted.
If you miss enough days, you get JC's new "RTO Slacker" tshirt
I can definitely say, I really don't give a f!*k anymore. Knock yourself out and track whatever the f you want. I don't care. I do my job and I do it well. Keep the baby a$$ games and pound sand ya big je-ks.
This is what we have been reduced to....
its written into next years standard goals template. Those faulty stats will be used to reduce any annual pay rise percentage
It's pathetic. Grown professionals worried about their attendance scores.
the mocking is warranted.
Does your condensed comment make you feel better? It was a valid question from the OP so stop being an a$$...
It’s a known HR issue. Badge swipes may be missing from Thursday and Friday
LoL. How quickly ya'll embrace being treated like little kids.
Should just req the managers take attendance daily
Mine is off by two days, too
I noticed this today as well. Report is wrong
Mine shows the same but I didn't do anything different, every day same hours, so I think it's just the system is wrong
