Thread regarding NetApp layoffs

Average age

If you don't work with many older employees you might have seen less of it. It's obviously an ageist layoff.

I've been noticing the same thing. Yes, there are a few younger people affected, but I think the average age skews much higher. Which should be illegal, but nobody cares.

In the layoff action that took place in June 2024, the majority were also 40+.
