I don't have any 1:1 scheduled... does that mean I'm safe, or are they using email, phone calls, or something else?

Received phone call from my Mgr a few mins before 8am. No calendar 1:1
Wow (to the previous poster), glad you were not impacted.
Most notifications would happen before noon local time. You would normally get an adhoc 1:1 from your manager early your morning. Sometimes it can be from your manager's manager (which you indicate that your manager was impacted as well).
I got a adhoc meeting that includes most of the team that I work on for this afternoon. This is how he as, in the past, given everyone the "all clear".
1:1 with my boss...got the axe
If it's past 10:00am where you are? Probably safe.
