You are a disgrace,Sabre…
When the last part of Sabre is fully in India, there finally be a chance for success again..
This is what happens when you give an American company to Indians
That's a pretty good ROI for $1.1 billion. A $220 million per year in profit pays for itself in 5 years. Sabre really needed the money. A win win for everyone.
$330 million
So, if we say that each person on average costs Sabre $100k per year, moving 1,100 people to TPG reduces Sabre's annual costs by $110 million. How much annual revenue did SHS bring to Sabre? More or less than $110 million?
It’s time to get rid of the awful HR leadership team
1100 is the number I've heard
How many people will be leaving Sabre to go to TPG?
We've been told we should all be mostly keeping the same roles. We will not be working in Sabre offices since we won't be Sabre employees. Many many details still being worked out but they mentioned they would be looking for new office space.
SHS employees, can you share how you will be affected?what were you told?do you all keep position and same role and will be working from same Sabre Office?
Interesting that they're paying $1.1bn cash for the hospitality division along, when Sabre's entire Enterprise Value is just $5bn right now (compared to $9bn pre-covid), on a market cap of $1bn as well.
Either TPG - who is intimately familiar with Sabre - is passing on an incredible opportunity to take Sabre private again and dramatically increase the EV simply by paying down debt in the purchase, or there is no such super opportunity at all.

Now we are cooked.... the only BU that brings money is being sold. Please let us know what will happen with HS employees.
Ok, it’s official — Sabre is selling Hospitality Solutions to TPG.
