I'm a vendor and I go into several Kroger stores. This customer that's what we call our stores we go to is one of the most miserable places any of us have to go to.
HEB is by far the best customer we have. First of all, they treat us like we're human beings and they're nice. Also, they don't have a ton of extra work to do every time we're in there. Well when we're in Kroger we have to move stuff here, move stuff there and then we have to put it back 2 or 3 days later. It's the most ridiculous waste of time I've ever seen in my life. If it's going to be back on sale in 2 days, why in the world wouldn't you just leave it there? I hate going into Kroger stores now. Let's talk about the employees..
The employees are the most unhappiest and in many cases. Rudest people I've ever encountered.
They watch everybody like you're going to steal something even when you haven't done anything wrong. They must have a huge employee theft problem.
Or theft problem in general.
I never encounter the HEB. I'm sure they have security watching everybody but I've never had anybody watch me like the people on Kroger. It's just the lamest and it's not just me saying this. It's other vendors as well.
If I could take Kroger off my list, believe me that would be the first and only store I would take off my list. It's actually better going to Walmart than Kroger.
But HEB is the number one store and I am in Texas. That's where heb's are. And I'm just saying maybe Kroger should follow HEB store model of how to treat people in general. The last thing is if you look at the Kroger people they never smile. They look exhausted to probably overworked and they just look SO unhappy!!

Don't be too hard on them. Their soul has been crushed.
Kroger treats it's employees like sh-t; they aren't acting miserable, they are miserable. You are experiencing, "sh-t rolls downhill".
The corporate tag-line is, "Feed the Human Spirit". Nope, it's really "Feed ON the Human Spirit"
Ok
