I didn't give them 2 weeks, I told them on Thursday that Friday was my last day. They said I needed to give 2 weeks notice. I countered with Dell doesn't give 2 weeks notice to most people.
Don't forget to ho-k when you leave the place.
Change anything like adp to your personal emails instead of work ones.
Let them term you. Don't quit
Do your thing.
2 weeks notice is a thing of the past. The company wouldn’t give you that courtesy, they’ll just boot your a-s out the door. Why should you extend them this courtesy?
Don't forget te yell: "Hasta la vista MoFos and F#ck Dell" on your way out.
Take all vaca and when you return quit that day.
Quiet quit, get your severance and run fast!
Double dip

This is old corporate propaganda to keep the servants behaving.
As long as you are not breaking any laws, you will be fine. A few months into your new job, no one from your old one matters in the slightest.
This is especially true for Dell.
Don’t even quit. Just start working the new job and let Dell keep paying you until they figure it out. Perhaps start by taking your vacation time so they don’t expect you around anyway. You could milk this for months
Don't burn any bridges. You never know where you may bump into people again in your future career. Go out with class, quietly and professionally.
Good luck!
2 weeks? I'd come on Monday, packed my stuff, dropped my laptop on mgr's table and walked away.
Why give two weeks notice?
Just give em end of week notice is my plan when I get the offer.
