Pound Sand

This place makes me sick. Merging locomotive and mechanical is about the stUPidest move yet but doesn't surprise me , giving people a choice to move thousands of miles away for another manager's position and a raise telks you your just another brick in the wall. Don't fall for the blood money trick tell em to pound sand.Changes are coming your way shortlines are in line waiting.

Are we doing RULA again or is Little Jim just going to fire everyone?

rounder I agree w/ you. I’ve got 10yrs left to go, if a contractor or shortline came to my location and kept paying into railroad retirement I’d jump at the opportunity to get away from the stUPidity. Even if I took a cut in pay.

I used to think that contracting out the locomotive side would be bad. Now I think, eh, maybe they’ll treat me better than UP does! Not working for UP is very appealing.

They are going to contract locomotive side out anyway. I don’t know about the car side but I know that the small yards are going to the waste side.
