Heads up. I am hearing layoff announcement within the next two weeks. Some coworkers of mine have already started bringing personal stuff home. Seems there manager may have let them know about pending doom.

Global does not offer early retirement. I asked during the last round of layoffs. They just raise the axe and swing .
Has anyone heard about early retirement being offered like VRP was at TSYS years ago? Or just severance and cuts... with so many itching to leave due to constant volatility at GP already looks like they could avoid layoffs simply by offering VRP again. Hearing very conflicting things at this point.

Various support, installation , I/T, onboarding, management and admins under verticals will be impacted.
Issuing wont be affected by the layoffs, it may just be merchants and very few of issuing
I knew the jig was up when we confirmed that we plan to hit our numbers for 2025 when we announced the Worldpay / FIS deal. How are we going to hit the number when the only things we control are staffing and customer pricing? Cut staff and raise prices. Cuts need to happen in May so we can get some benefit for the rest of the year. Good luck all.

What I do think was leaked perhaps, was the sale of tsys issuer. We have heard it rumored for a while now but that announcement was out of nowhere, via email, and no one has any answers. Like all of a sudden they just said it happened and been real mysterious about, as if they weren’t prepared for that release.
I asked my manager outright if there is anything happening in the next week or two. The answer I got was "how and where did I hear this". Then he tried to change the subject very quickly. Seems someone leaked something they are trying to keep hush. Can't wait for my next review or survey when I talk about belief in leadership.
Why would they do that right now?? Which areas? Across the board? What area got the heads up?
