I am certain GPs and Directors will get a nice fat severance.
The rest will get a paltry 2 weeks/year. The folks who will feel the financial pinch more will get less in severance.
Not sure how this is human centered.

I'm part of a remotely managed team. The worst part for us is that our director and the department leaders that report to him are having conversations about the "repurposing" associates from our team to another poorly managed underperforming team. Even worse, they do not include our team leader in those conversations. Whenever our TL asks for more info or offers a different perspective all they do is offer platitudes and corporate word salad.
So much for creating a "place of belonging", ans so much for involving associates in decisions that affect them.
I haven't heard human centered in some time. The current buzz words are knowledge powered and AI, literally the opposite of human centered...
Failed GPs get rolled into 200+ million dollar offices and pi-s off the region. They also keep SLP paying more than our LP.
@ez+1jsn947nw - it looks like you yourself are a GP or Director trying to create the optics that poor GPs and Directors will suffer like the rest.
When bonuses come out, GPs and Directors make more than the rest (by percentage points).
So it’s a fair assumption that their severance will be more.
If your VSP included an option to keep your LP, take it! The subsequent IVSP won't be as generous..
How are you certain GPs and directors will get a nice severance? That doesn’t sound likely at all. Seems like everyone will be in a tough spot.
Branches are already getting upset with Indian accents from the “home” office.
This! Penny and her ELT are hypocrites, talking out of both sides of their mouth about the culture they constantly rave about to external groups like Great Places to Work (what a joke).
She explains how we are “transforming home office”, yet the same old incompetent ELT leaders like KJ, Dolan who created the current problems are still there.
She says what we are doing is human centered, while prioritizing pace over thoughtfulness by rushing forward a reckless change effort (designed by consultants) led by ELT who have no idea what they are doing - and no track record for transforming anything inside Jones or elsewhere.
She underscores the urgency of this change like it’s an existential turnaround - while she and her ELT are raking in record earnings.
Meanwhile, the branches navigate poorly implemented tech, atrocious service support, no real estate support, reduced resourcing - all while being expected to deliver unrealistic targets in a volatile market.
Perhaps Reimagined is a distraction from the real issue - an MP staring down a failed transformation and who is willing to sacrifice the firm’s legacy and culture to hide from this truth.
That clunk you just heard was Ted rolling over. Penny and team have ruined a great firm.
It’s fun watching some of the GP’s freaking out trying to save their cushy job that they could not acquire by going somewhere else. The 2 week/year people will be able to find something comparable. Good luck with your “retirement “ Lena!
