No more supply chain supervisors as People leaders, head counts going down as they will now be Leads. They all have to reapply for minimal roles. The pay is less, announcement supposed to be made tomorrow network-wide. Everyone else severance by May 31

Exactly why I will not take it. I will take my miniscule severance and be able to hold my head high as I find a new job.
This is just a Reduction in Force (RIF) made to look promising for the weak employee. The employee "winning" the bid position, will think they have won/accomplished something. Yet it is really a slap in the face. They will lose their status as an Hourly Supervisor which demishes not only their title but benefits that was given as an hourly "Executive", which the were considered. Brillant move Macy's. This is another company deminishing DEI for Trump. Disgusting.
Wanting people to re-apply and re-interview for a job they already have is crazy. Have they ever done something like this before?
