Thread regarding Booz Allen Hamilton layoffs

Benched for only two weeks?

Layoffs are happening. Bench is no longer 6 months for many consultants, now only 2 weeks. They’re getting rid of more experienced staff for cheaper employees to backfill.

Yes.. a few hundred put on the bench last this week on the Civil side. Told bench will only be about 2 weeks and then lack of work letters will go out. More cuts will come IMO.

Does anyone know if they are also reducing non-client facing corporate positions?

Has anyone noticed how they have removed all the professional profiles from the website?

Going to guess that since remote work is a thing, that doesn't apply to WARN. Read some of the WARN brochure and it mostly points to things like "X employees laid off on a single site"

Can confirm. Hundreds of people got extremely last minute notices last week that they’re benched for 2 weeks and then are done at the company. Wondering why I can’t find anything on the internet about the layoffs, aren’t there laws about reporting major layoffs? What am I missing?
