It’s also become complacent, lazy, and uncompetitive. Losing this many people might be a Hail Mary move, and I suspect there’s been a plan in motion for a while. I wouldn’t be surprised if some parts are sold off in the near future too. Maybe the restructuring will work, or maybe it’ll fail. Either way, it won’t make much difference to those who’ve lost their jobs. In any case, good luck to all of us.

Most people don't have H1Bs just because they are H1Bs.
i don't like people that get hired when they are not qualified to do the job.
When that happens the person is usually a H1B. And his friend is the Manager.
if the manager would hire someone who was qualified and would do a good job then Intel would be in a lot better shape. Intel's current condition is largely because of those Managers and their unqualified hires.
LOL all these H1B haters....If the H1Bs leave Intel, there isn't much talent left. Remember LBT is/was also H1B. All the leaders that ran the company into the ground for the last 10+ years...OLD WHITE MEN!
Look at the flourishing tech companies....all run by diverse leaders - aka women, ex-H1Bs, POC.
To put into perspective even Elon M is from South Africa (H1B!).
Think long and hard if you have the ability to do so.
Why are ya'll after H1Bs?
H1Bs get hired cause they're friends of friends. Not because their qualified!
They keep hiring H1bs for sure
