We know the "leak" earlier this week said it was "over 20%", and Intel has about 108K at the end of 2024. I assume Intel has lost some more people during Q1'25. So the ball-park number is 21K-22K mentioned around the press. Given all the spin offs, sale of BUs, etc... what do people think the net net reductions will be? I'm picking the over 22K since that would still put Intel over 80K net employees, and that's still oversized for the organization they are running.

OP, where to you get 108K at the end of last year. Read the earnings report released today. Page 6 of the pdf download from intc.com... it was 99.5k as of the end of 24 and 97.6k as of the end of March. Get your facts straight.
Too late to take the 'way under'?
If anything this is worse, dragging out the weeks and months for everyone to see if they get tapped on the shoulder, then often being walked out with no package.
Earnings is at 2pm.
And just to note.. bloomberg was wrong on 4 other intel roumers this past year. So who knows. We will finr out tomorrow i guess
We are not chumps to be sh-t upon because of the failure of execs. We need to strike until there is meaningful leadership accountability.

Don’t fret - Pat’s praying about it.
Everything is under control.
We only have about 96k employees right now if you exclude contractors.
