lol how about they told a bunch of managers today that they aren’t allowed to give recommendations for any current Medsol employee. It’s a sadistic joke at this point

How many MedSol clinicians are on assignment now? It has to be getting worse than when I was there.
How many people on the accounting team are left? I lost touch with old coworkers after the first round of layoffs in Oct 2023.
At this point I’m riding it for the severance with as minimal work as possible until I get that call. Everyone sees where this is going. If you’re not client facing or clinician facing, you’re out. so be prepared. Oh and by the way the clinicians know what is happening and are concerned as they should be. But hey they/medsol wanted this so good fu--ing luck!
My suggestion is to touch base with your team/coworkers that you worked alongside with. Some managers/team leads are more than willing to be a reference even if they aren't "supposed to." Moreso, those that don't agree with what is happening.
I'm a team lead and have done numerous references for my team. My manager also did a few references for me as well. Reality is so many people are preparing and job hunting. Some people still have a heart and willing to help. You just have to see who is willing to do so. If you have a good relationship with your team/manager/team leads utilize those individuals for references. Everyone knows what is coming and is preparing.
Helpful tip: gather personal emails/phone numbers for references (as you won't know who is still with the company (if anyone) by the end of this.
Medical Solutions will not even provide a reference for former employees applying to new jobs. They will only "verify your employment" but not provide any feedback based on your performance while at MedSol. And if you want employment verification you need to connect with people you likely never worked with during your time there and it's a whole process.
Refusing to even support laid off or former employees by giving them a referral is pretty telling of the company's values overall
Like why do they hate us employees so bad? I don’t understand the hostility towards current employees (not including WRS). I seriously feel singled out. This is nothing I have ever seen in my life! Can’t wait to find another job and never look back. This past week has been pure He-l for everyone left there. Very toxic environment.
