In regards to the previous post about office politics,

The people left are the ones that kiss the managers butt the best, tell on others to make themselves look better, it’s really sad but true. Your co workers will sabotage you, they will watch you fail and do nothing, then take credit for being the hero. They will lie and make up stuff to make others look bad to save their own jobs.
The managers are either not smart enough to figure it out, or in some cases they even support and reward this kind of behaviour. My last manager kissed his way up the ladder, he was a bad tech, and was rewarded 3 management roles until he finally met his own termination all in 15 years with the company.
Prepare yourself for this kind of culture, both company’s have the same problems, it’s awful.

No training, there are so many proprietary systems that you are going to have to figure out on your own. Then you will do the work of 3 ppl.
You need to actively participate in office politics to survive. This job us much more about how you look than how much you do. The people who are still there are the best at office politics. Good luck.

Are you cheap labour? That’s what the companies both hire.
Kind of doubt your in North America either, these jobs are all being outsourced to Serbia and India or other countries.
My questions may seem negative, but the mission of both companies remains the same, outsource everything that’s possible, even if they know it’s not going to work well.

Depending on the team you're placed in, you might find yourself in a decent position short term, but I wouldn’t recommend NCR for long-term growth. The pace of growth is slow, and the overall chances of success are lower compared to opportunities at other companies.
I personally turned down a strong offer to make NCR my first choice, which maybe wasn’t the best decision.
Unfortunately, upper management lacks the necessary training and vision to truly support your growth. As a side note, my direct manager was extremely difficult to work with—easily the most toxic person I’ve encountered in my career.

It depends where you are and what the role is.

There are a lot of disenfranchised field engineers in these threads.

Their experience is not everybody's experience.

Culture = None
Stability = None
Respect = None
Future = None

Get the picture?
Run, don’t walk away as fast as you can. ☠️☠️☠️☠️

NCR is toxic poison. Will su-k the life right out of you soul.

If you are out of work and have no other options, take the offer but keep looking.
If you are currently working, don't leave a job unless you are an executive with an iron- clad golden parachute.
