Oh, I'm SO SAD and DISAPPOINTED that I'm left off the guest list for (checks notes) another forced fun off-campus event. I'll have to hit the beach where I'll be crying in my beer.
Not being invited to company events is one of the few criteria that legally differentiates contractor from full employees. They also have to be furloughed without pay for a certain time every year.
Nothing personal, just maintaining the legal fiction that they are not employees.
That sounds a lot better than doing the hokie pokie at an event named after a school dance.

CWs are too cool for these type of duds anyways. We can afford to go to an actual club in Vegas. EDC anyone? No non CWs invited.
Why would we want to go to any event? We actually get paid to do work, unlike brokies who have to be made up for with events. Keep us on your minds.
