Thread regarding Boeing Co. layoffs

I left Boeing six months ago after finally being disgusted with the company and even told my useless manager that

So today I got a call from a Boeing recruiter asking if I want to come back working for the company? I figure Boeing’s desperate in finding experienced engineers to work on their recent NGAD contract win.
Anyone else being contacted?

I am still with the company. I find the company to be good to me. Good salary, good benefits, good opportunities. Of course, there are a-holes are out there. But, it is the case with every job I have had before. I have been with Boeing for 17+ years now. Got my education paid for by the company, got my certifications paid for by the company, still taking training and growing professionally. Leaving the company is your decision. However, the grass is always greener on the other side of the fence - I know that from my own experience.

Yep they haven’t learned anything since the door plug. Just watched a wing go out today with a missing bolt under the engine mount. Engineering said it was good to go! Unbelievable.

If you left the company in disgust 6 months ago, the waste fraud and abuse that will probably take place on the NGAD will not be any better.
