Thread regarding HP (Hewlett-Packard) layoffs

Do they care

I look at people in leadership and team members. Does HP realize that their workforce is working around the clock, constantly missing dinner and important life events to take a call at all hours of the night. To mandate being in the office. When it’s time for the ax it won’t help. Guess I am feeling burnt out with all the changes recently.

One of the reasons I left (one of many reasons) is it felt very much like being "on call" and there was no differientation between home life and work life. Sometimes I'd have a meeting at 7AM, and others 11PM.

That was during the pandemic, so honestly it would be a he-l of a lot worse being forced to be in the office AND to hold such a schedule like that.

Nope, that is not normal.

Obviously they don’t care. ELTA only cares about putting more money in the shareholders pockets and jet setting around the world to take photos for linked in.
