Must be more earnings missing from Insight's latest qtr as they are laying off people quietly again.. Seems to be a common theme from a company that should be firing executives not laying off the common staff. Seems that the Cap folks just can't cut it as even some of them are gone. Might as well start at the top and whack the CEO, CFO and NA Sales dude. So much for trying to be a Solution Integrator.. LOL. LOL. LOL. Better try and claw back with deep discounts those accounts that fled to SHI, CDW. Hahahahaha.

I work for CDW. We didn’t crush it on earnings. In Q4 of last year, they took away our accrued vacation time and a god chunk of performance bonuses. The board also spent $200MM on stock buybacks. The reduction in financial liability (I,e. Stock buybacks) combined with an artificial inflation of stock performance via buybacks makes it look like we’re doing good on paper….but it sounds like the same sh---y circus you guys at insight are dealing with. Management is absent at best, and blatantly corrupt on the worse end of things. The entire VAR industry is a sh-tshow.
Interesting how CDW just crushed their earnings. Really goes to show that leadership at this place is clueless.
Word is that CDW moved their earnings far from Insight as it was tired of getting dragged down by their poor performance. HAHHA LOL
Snippet from earnings call transcript: "...we have an entire set of plans around significant downturns in the market that address our OpEx expense. Of course, there's there we the the improvements that James alluded to in the SG and A efforts that we have underway, are largely are very much in process. And, so we have a pretty good playbook around that.
And, yes, we have more room on on offshoring. We certainly have a lot more room on automation, and we've launched an internal, set of AI initiatives, which we're very, very excited about, to help us figure out how to improve our overall SG and A structure and leverage. So, I feel like we're well prepared for, for a cost management and improvement, and we're gonna take those actions with with or without a downturn. And if there's a downturn, we'd obviously execute those faster."
With or without a downturn...hold onto yer butts...
Swing and a big miss... Fire the whole lot of mates in a sinking ship! Can't make colleagues redundant fast enough to save margins... Services down 4%, guess those Cap geniuses can not do basic maths either..
Do you know which groups are facing cuts right now? I'm in ops and I havent heard any rumblings yet.
I'm so tired of leadership facing zero consequences for bad ideas, while us underlings get axed, get replaced with AI, or cheap outsourced labor. If there was ever a position that could get replaced by AI, it's executive leadership...
Well said, could not agree more with the sentiment and how this company just keeps on digging itself into a deeper and deeper hole. At some point the board is going to make some tough decisions around the executive team as their return on their RSUs is all going down hill with this group of constant strategy changing of directions. I'm getting whiplash!
