Offshore support is ramping up and the Atlanta office is hiring managers and agents, why? Because all of virtual is going to be gone soon. They will do this in stages with the first being terminations in the way of absurd metrics. The second will be the supervisory position because no more agents means no managers needed. And the third will be the complete elimination of the virtual staff. Thank your executives and the crew they brought over from EU.

Fake news from a "Jr Exec". But CARE did get scooped up into multi contact.
This aged well and is pretty accurate, offshore taking all tickets. Pretty soon virtual will be gone and it will all be JSL.
All these layoffs over the yesrs, and the closure of Germany. Wayfair has shown they have no issue with layoffs, if they wanted to get rid of a department they would just do it and not play firing games.
The firings in CARE were totally warranted. Those agents were pushing back on escalation transfers as well as giving poor service. They have been replaced. The rumors of the entire department being taken out is ridiculous.
Probably the same “Jr. Exec” that said a layoff was absolutely happening last June and it didn’t. Jr Exec isn’t a title at Wayfair. Stop fear mongering.
The Care class was a total of 3 people to replace people that left.
Care literally has a class that just started training on monday

They just sent out an email asking for OT. Yes they have been off shoring front line but they obviously still need people. This post is ridiculous
We arent allowed to call care either, my manager is taking my escalations.
My manager said we need to reach out to her instead of calling Care. They are obviously getting rid of Care.

If someone was a jr executive they should know it is Athens GA not Atlanta, also Athens hasn’t been growing in size , but has replaced some positions of people that left/got fired.
Again a layoff could happen, but this just doesn’t sound anything legitimate
