Thread regarding Ricoh layoffs

I'm indifferent to the possibility of being laid off

I started looking for another job a while ago. I don’t see a future for myself here. What I see is a shrinking business with clueless leadership, making cut after cut until there's nothing left. If I find something better, I’ll leave. If not, I’ll keep going through the motions until I’m laid off.

The only thing that can be counted upon is people behind the scenes planning the next round of Layoffs.

I think the company has reached the tipping point after this last round of layoffs. The writing is on the wall. It seems that MIF is quietly being passed off to dealers in a gradual process since they can't absorb it all at once, and corresponding layoffs follow. Once the dust settles from this layoff, they will reassess the situation and layoff some more. The end result will probably be only production will remain, or possibly not even that. Adjacentcies are only temporary business relationships, so don't bank on that either. The current situation is not sustainable.
