Dude what's eating you?? I assume the stick in your @$$. They guy is just asking the OP to give more information so people could give the information he/she wants. No need for the saltiness to someone who is trying to be helpful
Different bands for different departments, I know of I7’s/I8’s in Ireland in Product mgmt for example on a lot more money than services or engineering that would be I9. You can get large promotions without a title change
Glassdoor ranges - I8: 110-170 CAD. I9: 140-200
https://www.levels.fyi/companies/dell-technologies/salaries/software-engineer go down remove united states and put any string filter you are interested in.
israel, ireland or maybe you just want to see all i8s? put principal.
I6 Germany 68 k EUR I6 Slovakia 24 k EUR per year
I8 98k in Ireland??? I wish I was getting that... I'm well far away from that
I7 engineering 155k base
What’s eating you? Maybe the OP just asked how they wanted? Take the stick out your @$$
This is like asking "How much does it rain during a three month period?" Which months? What location?
If you want to know bands, you have to be specific: what country, what job family
What’s the minimum salary base for i9 in Ireland? I was always under impression it was about 85k…
Depends on the org you are in.
""I7 in US, $170k""
I call BS on that number my dude! 170k usd is over 100% of the i7 pay band. you would have been flagged by hr before you exceeded the 100% mark.
I7 in US, $170k
Some - not all - internal job postings have a compensation section with a pay grade and salary range.
I7 Ireland €65k :(
Levels.fyi is pretty accurate for US salaries.
I8 Ireland - €98k
I10 Spain. Services non-sales €125k
We could just all put our country and rough salary on this thread. At this stage who really cares?
No I8 makes 150k and no I9 makes 200k. These are just fabrications.
Go to glassdoor.com and look by location and title. It is pretty accurate if there are 5 or more entries.
I tried asking HR one time and they don't give that information out, you need to talk to your manger who is privy to this information.
Go ask your manager. It isn't a secret. You'll find that the bands are large in scope and overlap each other. Even if you get the promotion, you can still be promoted without getting any sizable raise.
Salary ranges are title based. They aren't tied solely to I/M levels
Too many factors. I know I10s who make 150K and others who make 300k. I know I9s who make 200k and I8s who make 150k. Bands overlap and have significant span, throw in location, job family and type, org etc and it can be hard to determine.
Crazy fact - Dell used to have a salary structure report where you could look that up for yourself. 1-2 bands above and below your current band. Wonder why HR pulled it?
