I’ve been with Macy’s for a long time. Even during the rough patches, there was always a sense that someone was trying to turn things around. But lately, it feels like neither we nor Macy’s have a future. It’s as if everyone’s given up on the idea of improvement. We’re just going through the motions, waiting for it all to end.

I’m a corporate employee in the design sector and I can’t state how frustrated and demoralized I feel. Leadership is gutless, lacks vision, and has zero integrity. Macy’s has truly hit rock bottom.
My opinion…Macy’s leadership has no idea what they’re doing. They’re trying to rescue a sinking ship that just keeps taking on more water. It’s going to be a very sad end.
