Professor AI will save us. He has an excellent track record of innovating and delivering real products in his tenure as an engineering leader. He is very technical and well known in the industry and well loved by all the technical leaders in the company. We are so lucky we have him.

Bad pick by LBT. LBT will turn out one more bad CEO. He expanded role of Mike Hurley instead of firing him.

LBT is testing each leader at the moment as he does not trust any of them. He got each leader to directly report to him to truly see the bullsh@tters and the performers directly I think he will continue fine tuning hills exec leadership over the coming months as he measures things himself. For example, MJ is likely to depart soon as she is less relevant without CCG now. LBT downgraded her in a big way.

It doesn’t matter. The leading experts in all the world almost unanimously agree that AI is not really AI. In the case of Gen. AI it’s about as worthless as worthless gets. Even for coding there are vastly cheaper and more accurate techniques like generating code from types and manually filling holes from a dropdown (which actually works without a power plant and fancy accelerators) Drink the cool-aid all you want, 5 years and billions if not trillions of dollars later industry at large will once again have learned and have paid the price. Intel should be leading not following here.

I feel this is a good step to take but it is likely not to be the last step. Keep searching for the best fit and adapt quickly.

I don't think OP actually cares, as she is merely trolling for gullible fish.

Bringing in Jen Hsun wouldn’t help Intel.

You can’t magically make good AI silicon without the engineers capable of doing it.
Intel doesn’t have any.

All great tech products are the result of recruiting and retaining the best engineers.
Look around and report back if that is the case here.

Seriously.. tan, this is all you got?

First off stop listening to MJ.. she is not an engineer and “home grown” baeuracratic mess who just came to leadership by chance than any of her potential and or impact..

Karin is yet another one of same kind, just way worse than MJ.. she absolutely does not hold any credibility for what title she holds as of now.. she has no clue what she is leading and what her role entails. Every single day we have these kind of so called leaders, intel is spiraling towards its demise way quicker than otherwise ..

Sachin? AI? Looks like a joke.. if the guy was passionate about AI, what was he doing so far sitting in networking.. is it because he is a Stanford professor?
