Hey OP china canceled over 500 737's during COVID.
Where have you been?
Other airlines said they would take all Chinese orders.

Layoffs were already scheduled end of 2024. This, as well as the other coming order cancellations, will just extend the number of planned layoffs. Tariffs will make boeing planes too expensive for anyone to buy !!! Best case, orders will be delayed for 4 or 5 years and not out and out cancelled.
We are always in a continuous layoff at Boeing. Get use to it.
