Thread regarding Dell Inc. layoffs

No motivation

I don’t know if it’s the constant layoffs, broken management or cr-ppy work but I can’t get myself motivated and look on the bright side.

If you're wondering what that utter stink is in the RR5 toilet then it was me.

I would say now is a good time to get your resume and LinkedIn updated. Start taking some training if you have any skills gaps. I was laid off 2 weeks ago and wish I had been doing this all along.

They blocked all my useful software to even be productive. I've lost time to be efficient now too. Not motivated to use the cr-p OS and software they force on me. So I've just been slow and doing very little now because I lack proper tools that I'm use too.

We can’t even just do our work. Everything is pure politics. Other teams pretending to partner but no follow through. Every deliverable needs to have 27 teams involved so everyone gets credit to pretend they’re relevant. Teams that have no one left to support users but they’re not going to admit it. Everyone is spending most of their time in meetings trying to “unblock” whatever. It’s a sh-t show. And the poor engineers can’t get any work done because of constant changes in priorities and need for constant updates.
