KC Business Journal today reported that Fiserv is planning a new "regional hub" in Overland Park, a suburb of Kansas City. The story says the hub will employ 2,000 people, and makes no mention of economic incentives. A competing proposal to locate this hub in Nashville did reportedly have $ attached. So, anybody know what this means for Omaha and Lincoln?

Fiserv always picks the nicest towns.
Not!
So they're shutting down Milwaukee and making the new HQ in KC?
I have no idea what their plans are, but all I wanna do is rack up those living points! Besides, who needs money when you can work hard to get those living points!

Not surprised. They have no loyalty to any place or any loyal employees. Glad I already got out.

Omaha for sure isn't a go forward center of excellence, so the building will be sold and people will be forced to relocate, or quit, but not to KS because that's too close. Senior leadership will insist they move to NJ or GA. Lincoln supports mostly precision and premier. Precision will be shut down in 4 years and only premier will remain as a core they will keep.
When Lincoln and Omaha tax credits expire all employees will be expected to relocate to Kansas City for the new tax credits. All Midwest cities are the same to Senior Leadership, (Senior Management believes the Midwest yokels will not even notice the difference.) Then senior management will be surprised when only a single digit percentage of the employees will be willing to move. Any other smaller offices will be forced to relocate to the new office. Any remaining remote employees will be forced to relocate. After too many of those people quit instead of move, then they will hire hundreds of unqualified individuals to hit their tax credit requirements. It will be a great deal for those kids who are still in college and those who are just starting out.
Long term Fiserv will constantly switch office locations between Kansas City, Missouri, and Kansas City, Kansas. Depending on which one has the better tax credits.
Probs close Lincoln and Omaha to get rid of the bad reputation Fiserv has over there. Lmfao
