How's the public cloud migration going so far?
Barely any workloads have been migrated and it's substantially more expensive than anyone estimated, and only getting more expensive.

Citi is an old boys club. Forget the cloud, they don’t have money to procure Microsoft Project for daily use for their employees! Cheap place, poor management. Given the number of Consent orders, MRAs, fines … they still can’t get their stuff together! Forgot the cloud. They can’t get onpremise run correctly!

@ag+1js5f2c5b the point Gomer is that there’s no commitment. Throw some cash at a new solution, then later “Ouch, its too expensive…um….nevermind”.
Yes, you don’t want to adapt new technologies. And want entire org to have same mind set. This is problem in Citi people like you.
So much money is wasted on partially traveled paths that just die with nothing more than a shoulder shrug.
