What was the experience like in your store yesterday with registers offline? We were told this was a snafu across the country and we only had less than half our registers working on a busy F&F Saturday. Lots of lines and complaints. Doesn't look good for black Friday in a few weeks!

Has anyone ever found out what caused these outages a few weekends ago? Macys Tech is good at covering up what happened so unless you’re in the know I doubt we will find out.
When they chose to close the Lorain location that managed the entire POS system across all divisions what did they think would happen? Have a great Black Friday with black screens on dead POS machines.
Our registers go down all the time not just Saturday . Outdated equipment, old fixtures and dock equipment that needs to be replaced. Customers complain all the time because the register takes forever then at the end of sale with the forever email choices its ridiculous!!
Not sure of what happened on Saturday but several sites had mostly offline registers until MTech and Verizon fixed the issue. One of the sites was Bloomies flagship 59th Street NYC location that was affected along with several South Jersey and Philly stores.
Customer starting yelling and cursing and got escorted out by police officer, then arrested outside when they found out she had an outstanding warrant.
well lets see you got out dated phones, registers , scanners, ipods, and you wonder why things dont work then you need them.. but hey didnt someone get 9 million for letting go 150k people?
Got yelled at by customers for things that are out of my control/hands 😂. Nothing new.
