Someone should ask the CEO if Oxy will be getting credit to capture what they already produce so much of? They might be able to call this process a success if they pipe the dome gas in to the carbon capture facilities.

Mitchell Energy partnered with the DOE in the 90’s to test the Barnett Shale. The successful results of that partnership have led to more energy, jobs, created wealth and became the birthplace for the shale revolution. Mitchell was an Oil and Gas Man with Ba--s. Those previous four capped words are what counts in this business. Everything else is just a sideshow

Where’s that guy who was salivating at the mouth talking about Trump during the most recent Townhall? Love to see how he spins these potential cuts. His face couldn’t be further up DJT’s ____. Without the subsidies, it makes it that much harder to make it economically viable. And spare me the BS about “maybe the govt shouldn’t be subsidizing, etc” - they subsidize our other business segments to a degree. It’s for the betterment of all.

Maybe Oxy can fund it themselves moving forward. I doubt they would of bought it if that was not the case.

Oxy just bought another carbon capture technology company. Are you sure this a good idea given the lack of support from the federal government?

You are going to get what you deserve. The oil companies never should have supported this mo--n in Washington. They went to dinner with him, they donated to his campaign, and they voted for him. Your fate is now established. Live with it.
