Which team(s) from credentialing? Watching the bubbles in teams to try to figure out which teams are becoming inactive.

Whole team for credentialing is gone. So much for the heads up.

I 100% believe that when Medical Solutions acquired C& A there was some embezzlement going on and now, they are having to make up for it somehow.

Medical Solutions is 100% a toxic work environment! No one should make their employees feel this worthless. They strive to make a positive workplace and happy place but in reality they are crushing American workers and their families on stab in the gut at a time! I sure hope your overseas broken English workers (slaves) truely make you #1 in your industry like you are thinking. (sarcasm) best if luck. You are letting go of hard working dedicated employees who truely cared for this company. SHAMEFUL

I get rewarding top performers but it’s completely inappropriate to do so at a time when you’re laying off people and sending jobs overseas. This shows how little the executive team reflects their workforce. At a time of financial crisis, if you’re cutting jobs at this level of depth, the execs and top leadership need to absorb some of this burden. Maybe foregoing the swanky high dollar trip. Terrible optics, but this has never been one of MedSol’s strengths in the last five years. Pathetic and the laughing stock of the entire industry. We are a joke.

Next week will be quiet. All the managers and top sales people are heading to Jamaica for a week, company paid for. But don’t worry, they’re saving a lot by shipping jobs overseas!

Im curious how this next week is going to go. I don't know how they expect people to work business as usual when everyone's livelihood is now at risk. They decided to do this "30 days notice" not as a visibility thing. They did it so business can continue on while wrs swoops in and learns the role. They did this selfishly because I guarantee that you have to finish out the 30 days before you get your severance check.

Please guys, do what you need to collect that severance. Do bare minimum but show up so they can't sc--w you out of it because you know damn well theyll try. Keep your head down and search for jobs on company time.

I work for one of their competitors and trust me everyone is aware and Medical Solutions is a big joke in the industry. No offense to those still there. But seriously competitors know all about these buffoons running med sol and how they are outsourcing to overseas. It’s no secret. Sorry this is happening. Someone said these liars said completion is outsoursing over seas workers also, that is a big lie! We all hire American workers. Denise is lying AGAIN! Goodluck everyone. Get those resumes ready.

The company has already been being looked at since the Oct 2023 layoff since they've been doing things illegally since the beginning of all this. They didn't give proper notice to those individuals, they didn't notify the state and get onto the list of companies doing layoffs, the list goes on. Everything the company has been doing has been illegal if you know the laws around things like this. That's why there's a clause in the severance package that you sign stating you can't sue the company if you accept the severance package. That clause wouldn't be in there if they were doing things by the book.

Already sent letters if this company is getting federal money for any programs then they are being looked at! The bug has already been sent to proper channels.

This is taking such a mental toll on us I know I am not ok :( have a positive attitude they say is easy to say to someone as you are using them to your advantage. Word will get out to the competition they will love this and to clients about foreigners taking over all jobs and don’t see them dealing with the language barriers, so I don’t see this company being around in a few years. There is a reason Rebecca and Denise left good jobs at Ranstad their strategy didn’t work at that company so here they are to mess up another company and they will just keep on creating dumpster fires. In the end we will be gone but will watch from a distance as karma serves them a bankruptcy notice!

Leadership comment was made that anyone not capable of keeping a positive outlook will be gone.

As far as not moving “all” I think that there should be the mental preparedness that it’s potentially less than 5 people that stay and then potentially only some leadership. I think they’re trying to avoid panic and everyone leaving outright.

Think about some of the “white glove” deals. They can’t let on to the big contracts what’s going on and they can’t let there be a chance they don’t renew their main income deals. I feel like SOME of those people that are in those teams will be the last to go so they all can help train replacements. As soon as WRS is good to go, then the rest will be gone too.
Then keeping leads to help with corrections/finesse of each of those facilities.

Care team will help with communication but it doesn’t mean that they know how to do it themselves if there are issues.
WVU, St Luke, Common Spirit they’re all vastly different. Not many know how to do it all. So they have to strategically pick who stays and the “domino” of when it’s their turn to go.

I can’t imagine too many who would want to stay to be helping clean yet again another mess and then be let go in a couple months down the road. WRS isn’t prepared for a full desk load and with people leaving, people will have to take that on.

Im genuinely curious when this is all going to start happening. I know they have to be preparing for people quitting on top of the notices that will start going out i assume soon. I know they said 60 days os transition for wrs to onboarding but what happens when the department is Skeleton crew and wrs isn't trained? It's all insane. Good luck to them.

For the question regarding the Open Mic with Denise, that was for th Finance department only. It was my understanding that Town Halls were being conducted company-wide yesterday with each department with Open Mics to follow.

We got a little more clarity (or at least what we were told) on the end objective, which apparently is not necessarily move 100% of the operational functions to WRS. Leadership is supposed to start meeting on Monday and then start making decisions on what stays on shore and goes off shore based on "Individual work". There were a lot of questions regarding the 30 day notice and the severance package (2 weeks for every year worked, minimum of 2 weeks and capped at 26 weeks) and also applying internally for positions within the company. However, nobody seemed to raise the question of who got hit with the 30 day notices yesterday, probably because those same people were in the meeting and they know who they are. I've heard so far that it was credentialing, onboarding and the Aureus collectively (maybe payroll). I also know of two people in billling who got notices, one on their day off and another while on bereavement.

I don't want to say what team I'm on but at this point I'm thinking that there's probably a 75% chance that I'm going to get one of these notices in the next 60 days that this transition will be happening. I've already updated my resume and started nosing around at what's out there. As much as I hate the idea of having to start all over again somewhere else, I'm so tired of seeing what happens as I've done in the last year and a half. I love the work I do. I'm good at it. Being "in between" isn't any way to be happy.

Open mic was today and I heard they asked WRS to NOT log on the call! They wouldn’t want to hear what horrible people they are working for. And how open they are about hiring them to replace everyone for Pennie’s on the dollar.

Regarding the CSCS position questions: there was only 1-3 people who were within that position. The one I knew who was within that position is no longer with the company.

From what I know about it as it was the next position I had an opportunity to move up into for my next promotion and how it was described to me when I inquired about it is that it's like a bridge between people. So for example: you'd be going back and forth between hospitals/account managers/onboarding and communicating information between each department. The person I knew who was within that position also was part of the credentialing team/resource team and did both on top of the CSCS work and bounced daily between tasks/responsibilities. I'm not sure if it will be the same type of work now with all the changes happening (outsourcing, merging with Aureus, etc.) But that is what I know about the position. It's A LOT more work.

I obviously declined that position and went a different route within the company at that time. But when I was inquiring about it I was already a team lead. You had to be a team lead for at least a year to even qualify for the CSCS position. Or you could go a different route and become a manager after that year of being a team lead.

I hope that answered some questions.

What are CSCS positions

by

Post ID: @ey+1js29aqbd

Yes that is true that team leads and leadership were given that opportunity first. A lot of us are having discussions and many are choosing to just leave instead or are waiting for the meeting invite and just collect the severance. Bottom line is even if we decide to transition into that spot there's no guarantee that layoffs won't continue even after all this. So, many aren't willing to take that chance. After years of uncertainty and panic of whether or not we will have jobs, many have hit their limit and not willing to allow that feeling to continue. Many aren't agreeing with where this company is heading and ready to depart.

Are the rumors true that team leads were the ones given the opportunity to be the ones to fill the CSCS positions and have to give an answer by today?

The "domino" effect that they are mentioning makes me feel like departments will be hit one after the other. Usually when something like this happens, tons of people are let go and then others decide to leave voluntarily which is the other side of the "domino."

For those who have been laid off, I am so sorry. For those still with the company this is the time to start preparing and looking elsewhere for another position you know what is coming and what to expect now. The fact that they are willing to offshore nearly if not complete departments tells you the direction the company is heading. The integration with Aureus means they have more people now which ultimately will result in more people being let go on both sides than what was expected in the beginning before the integration.

Best of luck to those job hunting! Something will open up for you and a new adventure awaits.

First I am sorry to all who lost their jobs today, you deserve better. So much for Human first that MedSol wears on their chest and preaches. Not very nice! Why sell out your fellow Americans to give their jobs to another Country that speaks volumes to who runs this Company now!!!! Way to sc--w your own brother and sisters who gave their hearts, blood, sweat and tears for your company. America first Period! Also stop making minorities your only focus EVERYONE MATTERS! not just your DEIB groups. Just be more companionate to everyone. Sorry to everyone left there, please search for a company that will give you the respect you all deserve, not sold out to save a buck. Shame on Medical Solutions Group!

I’m understanding that it was Aureus and onboarding that took the brunt today, I’m just not sure how many. There’s an open mic tomorrow as follow-up. What we don’t know if there’s going to be another round in 30 days from now so the transition to WRS is complete. We were told it would be a “domino” effect…whatever that means.

They’re giving those affected a 30 day notice and then a severance package at the end of 30 days. I’m still fuzzy on if it’s absolutely everybody or just a portion that they’re getting rid of. Meanwhile, I’m watching my inbox for a meeting invite.

The funniest thing about this is while they are gutting their departments, recruiters are dropping like flies. NOW the managers are having meetings about who they want to try and bring back to recruit and how they might be able to do it. What a mess

Finance meeting cliff notes.

  • Denise outright said WRS is significantly cheaper and they are replacing a lot of of the finance roles.
  • Over 60 days there will be layoffs, possibly up to 75 depending on how it’s going.
  • A message will go out when they’re done for the day
