Communications Department

Has anyone had any luck with getting our comms department to be responsive to comms requests in a timely, well written way?

They don’t answer calls, emails or teams requests. When they do they just put off the work and outsource it to some friend of theirs. It comes back in poor English and doesn’t make any sense.

How do we work around them? Any suggestions appreciated.

Sr. Director from Alpharetta just took a job at Americold. They likely are struggling like everyone else now.

Add the creative team to this list. The ENTIRE team was at an all hands meeting all week, so nothing was done. All these agencies we pay and the work being put out is simplistic, boring, and unCREATIVE. Marketing does not care about their internal clients. They are giving us pure 💩.!!

How can they be expected to do actual work they are being asked for when they are having so much fun with travel, special events of their choosing, and team building activities where 30 plus of them gather together to celebrate each other and the fun they are having. I’d like to see the ROI from all these new hires and the projects they seem to gravitate towards since it doesn’t seem to be driven by any business. It’s all about elevating themselves and not driving revenue, which is what I thought a marketing team was supposed to do?

Bring back the old communications/marketing team NOW! They were not perfect but they got the job done and were 100 times better than this useless group we have in there now. They also collaborated with their internal clients.

We’ve learned the chief empowerment Officer is having an Easter egg hunt in Berkley Heights tomorrow! Get there early!

We need to laugh. If not, we will cry.

We’ve been abandoned to this waste/misuse of shareholder resources and associated nonsense.

Try reaching out to the chief empowerment lady. She might even be able to get some help from Jesus to get things back on track.

It's so sad to see a bunch of pathetic, washed up people go to an external site to spew cr-p or ask a question about the company they sit in. You people are just sad and useless. Go work for a company that you like versus loosing the last few brain cells you have.

Are our respective groups allowed to put out our own comms? Can we contact with outside vendors to do acceptable work that could be used. It’s internally and externally?

If so, does anyone have the names of the right vendors that we can contact. We are losing because the comms team is incompetent. This is crazy.

Weird. But you’ve come to the right place! Just post what you’re trying to get done with comms and the experts here can band together and push it forward for you.

The second rule of Fiserv is we never discuss the communication team.

You might say that they are bad "communicators"? Maybe we should have a team dedicated to communication. But what would we call it?

No one does anything here anymore. Sometimes you gotta learn to let go and just take a nap in the bathroom stall.

The Comms team received several upgraded senior roles, SVP of comms and several VPs of Comms to divide the work and supposedly allow for more focused communication efforts. Unfortunately, it is another example of inexperienced people in senior roles.

These people are SUPPOSED to be experienced but much of the work is being sent to vendors who aren't given clear direction and it shows in the work being put forth.

It's what the company asked for and exactly what they received for the lower purchase price!
