Thread regarding BP PLC layoffs

AGM results

This company is doomed because its shareholders are also d-mb as f u c k.

3/4 voted to re-elect Helge, and the rest of these incompetent donkeys were also re-elected with over 90% of support.

It's not even that the reset strategy is bad on its own, but to believe that these clowns can deliver... beyond my comprehension.

Nothing good can come from this, nothing. Especially for employees

I was surprised to learn Helge wasn't an old fat ugly woman...anyone else?

Hey all - if your position has been preserved, look for another job ASAP. BP doesn't have any patience to wait for any kind of recovery to help them. In the next quarter, they're going to plan to fire more people.

I expect HL is trying to sell the company before he is show the door, to hide the fact that a great company full of talented staff can be turned around (probably quite quickly) with the right leadership... Which is not him or current board..

Apparently no one on the board or leadership is going to immediately be accountable for over $20b of value destruction over the last 5 years. And they are all going to be the best choice for leading the new strategy. As close to accountability that we’ll get is we went fast, too far. Meanwhile bp will let go the very people who tried to follow this flawed plan. True twilight zone material here.

Quite surprising that Elliot was relatively silent ... much hype about nothing I guess. Keep your head down and take the misdirection we receive from leaders

The email trying to sell that as some sort of vote of confidence is evidence the board see the employees as d-mb as f**k
