UNH down is 20% pre-market. Buckle-up folks. UHG “leadership” are going to be desperate to slash costs.

I would guess it would have to do with the options for the execs or they would have preannounced it.
He came and promised 100x crash. Man of his words
Maybe Optum should stop wasting millions on offshore contractors that don't do anything.
Please just lay me off so I can get off this ship with a few weeks severence.
@b7+1js1qg7m5 Hey, that’s Mr. 100xAI now. Haven’t you heard that if you string a few buzzwords together your employees are magically trained in a complex field.
Maybe it will finally wake up the institutional investors to how disastrous Witty's acquisition strategy and exec hiring has been. Trying to buy your way our of poor operational decisions, layoffs to cut costs, and hiring Mr. 100x and his roadshow of bllsht were never going to solve the problems, only hide the financial pain in the short term while exacerbating the issues in the long run.
Company with 29 billion in cash on their balance sheet will still say "its struggling times, we need to do even more layoffs"
They could start with cutting the entire DEI dept/program that's a complete waste of $$.
They need to slash themselves and bring new people, less executives, to bring this company back.
The stock is in free fall lmao on an otherwise green day in the market what is going on
If UHG woke wu-s leadership could come up with a strategic direction besides offshoring to India maybe my stock would not be down! Witty and his DEI initiatives are just the latest in a string of expensive failed initiatives over the last several years! Optum provides mediocre service and expensive services so business is going to be hard to grow. The state exchanges, have those grown? No, have they been money makers? No, because UHG is all about cronyism and weak leadership that has been running a cash cow that ANYONE with healthcare leadership experience could have run better!
Oh no, we only made 109b and not 111b
Thoughts and prayers
If upper management each took a 1-2 million dollar pay cut maybe we would be more profitable.
Cms related or what?
Hope current "leaders" are the first to get slashed.
