@ct The article says Gaudi.
nothing new. us has had a ban on exporting high end chips to china for years.
What AI chips, Gaudi? lol
china news is really bad for intel
AI toasters will have a price to "IQ" tradeoff. Normalize toasters from Target to 100 so Walmart is about 70 (functionally illiterate in primary languague with little grasp of complex real world events and interactions,) Temu/Alibaba is 55 (drooling on itself,) and Amazon is 120.
FIGURES. I’VE BEEN DESIGNING AN AI BIDET AND WILL PROBABLY JUST NEED TO PORT ALL THAT TO AMD.
BUT OMG THE TRIALS OF THE SOFTWARE HAVE BEEN MAKING PEOPLE GO CROSS EYED.
Guess my dreams of having an AI enabled toaster will have to wait a bit longer.
Good thing Intel has no AI chips anyone wants to buy, so there's no loss of business here.
