Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

I need a LONG vacation NOW!!!!

Forgive my ignorance….can someone please explain what’s considered “unlimited” R&R, per Fiserv guidelines? Can someone take two weeks in a particular month, two more weeks in a different month and two more by EOY? Perhaps 4 weeks at a time and 4 more in the middle of year and last 4 more say Christmastime? I don’t see a clear demarcation in our policy guidelines. TY

Unlimited R&R means unlimited work when you return!

Push the limit. See what happens. Just make sure you’re applying while you test the waters. Lmaooo

“unlimited” R&R = just smoke and mirrors.
Everyone simply gets hypnotized by the words “unlimited R&R” , don’t fall for it. Been there-done-that from experience.

There's no such thing as unlimited when it comes to the time off. They only classify it that way so they don't have a bank of time they have to pay you even they lay people off. As others have said, generally 33 days is the number you have each year.

It's actually 33 days max per year, you can only take two weeks at a time, but up to your manager to approve two weeks + more days in a row. The unlimited term is just a designation so when they lay you off you won't get anything paid out. Which sc--ws you and saves the company money.

33 max is what my team was told in Lincoln.

We were told the same number that non-exempt has. But there is no definition except 33 max

Officially is it "up to manager approval".

Just go on R&R until you get RIF’ed

Max duration without special approval is 10 days. And while they try very hard not to document their r&r limits you will be flagged if u take more than 33 days. In a recent r&r document I even saw mentions of 20 days

No you cannot take 12 weeks off vacation.

Some teams have been told 33, others 30. But no chance you can take 12 weeks
