It’s heartbreaking to see what Nielsen has become.
So many dedicated employees—people who gave 20, 25, even 30+ years of their lives—are being tossed aside like they never mattered. Replaced with cheaper offshore labor in India, Mexico, and Poland. No transition, no recognition, no dignity. Just a cold email, a calendar invite, and a severance package—if you’re lucky.
Many were let go right before Christmas. Think about that. After decades of service, they didn’t even get the decency of a quiet new year.
Nielsen used to be a company that valued loyalty, experience, and people. Now it’s all about cutting costs, no matter the human toll. While longtime employees are shown the door, the CEO and senior executives continue to rake in millions. Where’s the accountability? Where’s the soul?
This isn’t just business. It’s personal. It’s lives, families, and futures being upended so shareholders can see a slightly better return.
Nielsen has lost its heart—and those who helped build it are paying the price.
