Thread regarding Crown Castle International Corp. layoffs

The death of Crown

For those of you that will be left after the rapture, it's gonna by a rough ride. We all know Cathy P will run this company in the ground. She's done it before.

Just a thought. Calling a part-time or second job or any effort to make some Xtra cash a "side hustle" doesn't make it something new millenials brought a long. After reading all of this I realize that they do think that way. That they're the smartest people to ever grace us w their presence.

They speak like that in the office as well. Crown is the most age-ist company I've ever worked for. While I specifically am not a target, not old enough, I hear it all the time. Not all millenials are obnoxious, many, many of them are. Constantly ridiculing co workers for entirely nonsensical things. And the completely inexperienced mgrs just laugh at the "kids". News- they're not kids, they're grown a-s adults that should know better. Huge hr issue.

Notice the "I'm/we're" smarter/better than you" tone? Yep, millenial. Judging when they don't know all the facts...or even any.

@mq+1jrz749pz Not sure why you are hating on all millennials. What a d-mb and closed minded thing to do. You must be a miserable person with no life. Millennials are just more tech savvy than you because they are digital natives who are comfortable using a wide range of digital devices and platforms.

You are probably one of the 45-65 year olds here who wasted their entire adult lives to being a cable/fiber guy. This mediocre lifestyle is why you are a miserable old fa-t hating on millennials. Heck if I wasted most of my adult years being a fiber guy I would be miserable too!

Hmmmm ya. Public transportation has existed for millennia yet uber is some ground breaking amazing thing, same with alcohol Brewing/distilling and public places dedicated to consumption yet breweries are a ground breaking thing. Obnoxious. The only thing their thinking does is make them targets for every scam on the planet. Lol, 10k purple mattresses. And them dummies brag about buying them.

Lol. Ya Millenials, Avocados were food 5,000 years ago, the first Olympics was almost 3,000 years ago, and guess what, excel was created before 99% of you were able to walk or even born. Stop going thru life thinking and yapping about knowing more than anyone, you look like fools.

The "if you don't like it leave" posters are just legacy people who want to go back 10 years to the "glory" days. They don't want to hear how that doesnt/didn't work and that's been the problem all a long.

@bh+1jrz749pz Being in your 30s and 40s doesnt mean you’re mentally an adult. That’s what happens when you’re raised with participation trophies and “you’re special and unique” cr@p.

You must be breathing in bad air, friend, check for carbon monoxide or open a window, because you’re trippin’! Let’s not forget, LN and her protégé “strategy parade” is exactly where the rapture began. We’re rebuilding from the drama fallout, and MM her final strategic leader is (thankfully) in her final countdown, champagne is ready!

Once MM departs, maybe we can finally get back to, you know… actual work before she tries to burn the place or people down more, without the consultant vocab lessons. Less drama, more deliverables, and no more circus leftovers trying to be self important.

Oops. Someone was triggered. Don’t over-generalize people based on when they were born. These negative stereotypes lead to bias…and that’s how you end up with a company that all looks and sounds the same and never learns from different perspectives.

Also, can we get back to rumors about the company and jobs without attacking each other? Most of us are in the same boat, so stop trying to put down the people in the boat.

Millennials are the first generation that started knowing absolutely everything at 15 (normal) but never stopped knowing it all. News for you all, ur not the smartest people on the planet. You go thru life running ur yaps, insulting everyone and everything that isn't within your "cool" sense of self. You didn't invent exercise, food or tech. You ever hear "Everything old is new again"? It's true. We've seen it all before. You look like obnoxious, petulant children.

"Boomers" are over 60 now, very rare at Crown and aren't likely to be wasting time playing on the internet. It's time for millennials to grow the f up. You all sound like 6th graders even saying "Boomer".

Oof boomer showing their age. Millenials are in their 30s up through 44 now. Not the kids you're thinking of.

OP is probably some disgruntled millennial who had been there for three months and thought they deserved a promotion.

Care to expand? I'm not a fan personally but she did pretty well for the east by any metric I'm aware of
