Any ideas on total number of layoffs? Been seeing a lot of conflicting reports, but nothing that hit the news

Cmon…have you not seen what’s moving to India and philapines? No one is safe at Paychex. I know of a bunch that were layed off over the past year. Paychex is the new Xerox and Kodak!

I’m on the service side of payx.. do you think that will eventually see layoffs in the near future? I’m sure service will be impacted whether it’s workload worse than what we’re already experiencing but I’m worried that since they implemented global to pull emails that execs will start to see our positions as redundant as well.

There was some support, some dev as well but overall I don't think it was as large as 2024

No but I have a feeling it’s going to be a lot more come end of fiscal. Far too many redundant positions left. It seems as though the big portions that were laid off were imp, marketing, and some sales. But there is a reason we don’t need imp on the payx side. Because now we will be selling the paycor side. Therefore eventually service on the payx side is going to take a huge hit.
