What is the current Severance Package?

Any parts that can be negotiated?

Unless you are a VP the package is take it or leave it. If you leave it you get nothing.
Remember the Severance package is to stop you from suing Dell. That is essentially what you are signing away by accepting the package.

"Anyone in the UK volunteered and successfully got made redundant?"
Unless it changed recently it was 4 weeks pay per year of service. Calculated on basic pay plus car allowance. The total pay-out is capped at the equivalent of a years pay. 30K is tax free, the rest is taxable.

Doubt it. They send you an agreement to sign and you can either take it or leave it. If you leave it I guess you can sue them for improper notice, but since the penalty will be 60 days pay at best your just kind of sc--wing yourself and wasting time.

You might be able to negotiate if you "volunteer" but if you're like the rest of us it's the standard package.

US Two months+1year per tenor, capped at 26 weeks
